Steve Parks, age 79, of Dike, Texas passed away on December 22, 2025, at Mother Frances Hospital in
Tyler TX. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Chapel Hill
Memorial Park in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
Steve was born on September 25, 1946, in Kankakee, Illinois to Calvin Parks and Dorothy Baechler.
He married Dianna Lynn Moore on October 17, 1975, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Steve was a retired
truck driver. He was a man of the Christian faith, and a proud veteran of the USMC who served in
Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dianna Parks, sons; Shawn Parks (Angie), Ronnie Parks, sister,
Charlene Cash Meserve, brothers; Jerry Miller, Ron Miller and his grandchildren; Nicholas Parks,
Chase Parks, Heidi Montoya, Connor Parks, Abby Montoya, Cooper Parks, and Avery Montoya, as
well as many nieces & nephews who were loved as his own.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Parks and Dorothy Halliwill, daughter, Amy
Michelle Parks, and his brothers, Calvin A. Parks, and Jackie Lee Miller
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
