Foundation’s Gala Live Auction Offers Something for Everyone

Foundation’s Gala Live Auction Offers Something for Everyone
  • PublishedJanuary 5, 2026

Sulphur Springs, TX – The Hopkins County Health Care Foundation’s 20th anniversary Gala is taking place on Saturday, January 24, 2026. For several months, volunteers have been gathering items to auction off as part of live and silent auctions, and the community has been generous.

Though the silent auction is available both online and in person, the live auction is reserved for those in attendance. The live auction lineup is so good that you will want to get your tickets now to attend!

If you aren’t able to attend the Gala, there is one loophole to win a live auction item. The contest, 100 for $100, allows 100 people to pay $100 each for a chance to win one of 10 of the live auction items. The purchaser tells the Foundation what they would like to win if their ticket is drawn at the Gala. So, there is no reason you can’t win what you want even if you can’t attend the Gala.

Here is a rundown on the ten exciting items on the auction block that night:

If you like to travel, we have several opportunities. A three-night stay for two at the all-inclusive Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos beachfront resort with round-trip airfare has been donated by Galactic Performance Solutions.

A six-day trip for two to both the US and Canadian sides of Niagara Falls has been donated by Omega Hydration and 903 Cares. It includes lots of tours, meals, and wine tastings and is booked for September 20-26, 2026.

Two Live items bridge the gap between sports and travel:

Candy Jones, Jimmy Jones, Barbara McKenzie, and Mickey McKenzie have donated a three-night trip for two to Lolo National Forest in Montana. The highlight of the trip is two days of guided fly-fishing on the Clark Fork River in a specially designed boat. The trip, including round-trip airfare of up to $1,000 per person, is booked for October 2-5, 2026.

For the golf enthusiasts, four tickets to THE PLAYERS Championship will be a hot item. These tickets get you in for the entire week, including practice rounds. Also included is a stipend for $1,500 to be used as the winner chooses. Dates of the tournament are March 10-15, 2026. This package is donated by Sally and Jonathan Toliver and Sugarberry CCS Hub.

In our Food and Fun category, we have three options:

In addition to appetizers, drinks, and desserts for 20 people at the Oaks Bed and Breakfast, Historian John Sellers will lead a walking tour of downtown Sulphur Springs while sharing insights, stories, and tall tales of the buildings and former occupants of the area. This enjoyable night should be scheduled with the donors for a night in 2026. This package is compliments of Lyndsay Palmer, The Oaks Bed and Breakfast, and John Sellers.

Dinner for ten at the Festive Kitchen’s Chef’s Table in Dallas includes a fully catered meal and wine. This is the most sought-after caterer in the Metroplex, and the meal is sure to be a memorable occasion for you and your guests. The folks at Festive Kitchen have provided this experience.

Ol Mad is providing dinner and drinks for twenty at their restaurant. A Chef curated meal will be augmented with unlimited beer and six bottles of Los Pinos wine. In addition, a basket of vodka, rum, gin, and 3-, 5-, and 8-year-old bottles of bourbon will be given to the winner. This event must be scheduled with the Chef by the end of 2026, and excludes major holidays.

Our last category includes over-the-top items for everyone in your family:
