Rebecca (Becky) Juarez Calderón, age 74 of Sulphur Springs, Texas, passed away on December 21, 2025.

 

Rebecca was born on June 3, 1951 in Esperanza, Texas. to Dimas Juarez and Maria Sanchez. She spent her early years living in Delano, California where her parents were migrant farm workers alongside numerous siblings. She spent her life raising her daughters, granddaughter and caring for her husband.

 

She is survived by her husband, Samuel Calderón, daughter Angie Calderón; grandchildren Samuel, Emmalee, Penelope, and Noelia Pierce and husband, Lance; great-granddaughters, Kamilla and Kataleya.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and daughter Marcella.

 

She will be remembered as a woman who loved her family fiercely, a Yami who was always on time for school pick up, and an animal lover, leaving behind her dogs Pecas and Raton.
