Obituary for Paula Pipkin
Funeral service for Paula Pipkin, age 67, of Pine Forest, will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, December 8, 2025, at West Oaks Funeral Home with Rev. Shannon Gammill officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery with Brad Mobley, Gary Mobley, Tommy Mobley, Randy Mobley, Billy Huie, Ryan Garmon, Tim Lane, and Chris Pryor serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm Sunday, December 7, 2025, at West Oaks Funeral Home.
Paula was born on July 12, 1958, in Sulphur Springs, TX. She was the daughter of Clydie and George Mobley. She married her husband, Donnie Pipkin, on July 16, 1976, in Sulphur Springs. He preceded her in death. Paula passed away on December 3, 2025, at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler.
Paula was employed at Saltillo ISD as a cafeteria manager and bus driver, and most recently as an elementary aide. Paula has faithfully attended Life Fellowship Church in Mt. Vernon.
Paula is survived by son, Patrick Pipkin and wife, Angie of Pine Forest and son Cody Pipkin and wife Kayla of Greenwood, sisters Alice Pryor, Cathy Baird and husband Robert, and brothers Glen Mobley and wife Jan, and Danny Mobley and wife, Rhonda Kay, grandchildren Alana Landers, Maysen Pipkin, Kenzi Pipkin, Addi Pipkin, Bo Pipkin, Charleigh Pipkin and great-grandson Kayce Self, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Joann Burnett and Janice Meadlin, and brothers Charles Mobley and Jerry Mobley.
