Funeral service for Mark Friddle, age 75 of Yantis, Texas will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Mark Garrett officiating. Interment will follow at Greenpond Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mr. Friddle passed away on November 26, 2025 at Rock Creek Health and Rehab.

 

Mark was born on September 1, 1950 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to C.B. and Drucille (Harris) Friddle. He graduated from Yantis High School. Mark was a dairy farmer who also grew watermelons. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching westerns. His greatest pride was his watermelon farming.

 

He is survived by his daughter, Amy Landers and husband, Jon; sons, Mark Friddle and wife, Jennifer, Clay Friddle and wife, Kelci; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Elaine Bentley and husband, Mike, and Jonelle Watson; brother Paul Friddle; numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Mark was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dwight, Dan, Harold, and Ronald Friddle; sister, Annis Bonice Friddle.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
