Kenneth James Morgan, age 71, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, passed away November 10, 2025 peacefully at his home , surrounded by family.

 

Kenneth was born July 8, 1954, to James and Mary (Mills) Morgan in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Morgan was a member of Crimson River Cowboy Church in Cooper, Texas, where he attended regularly before his illness. Kenneth was a truck driver for Winburn Milk Company for many years. He also had worked for A.K. Gillis & Sons, Inc as a foreman on their distributor truck. He enjoyed fishing, strumming his guitar and drinking coffee. He had a heart of gold and a one of a kind sense of humor. IYKYK

 

He is survived by his daughter, Melanie Darden. Dean & Ruthie Collins, Spencer & Dianne Wicks, Quenton & Jaicie Crump, and his little best friend, Jasper (BOOGER RED) Wicks and his longtime best friend, Alfred Wynigear.

 

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter, Misty Michelle Morgan, his Sister, Louise Morgan and his beloved dog, Rambo.

 

A personal family service will be held at a later date.

 

The family would like to give special thanks to Kiara Johnson and Rachel Russell of Choice Hospice for going above & beyond for his personal care.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
