Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Dionicia Lopez Marroquin, affectionately known as Nicha and Corina, at the age of 70. She departed this life on October 25, 2025, in Topeka, Indiana.

Dionicia was born on April 29, 1955 in Los Azulitos, Jalisco, Mexico, to her beloved parents, Gonzalo Lopez Delgado and Maria De Jesus Delgado Ruvalcaba. She shared a beautiful life with her husband of 48 years, Elias Marroquin Jr., who preceded her in death. Together, they built a loving family and a legacy of faith, warmth, and kindness.

Dionicia is survived by her cherished children: Alejandra Marroquin Leon and her husband Sergio Leon, Gonzalo Marroquin and his wife Crystal Marroquin, Martin Marroquin and his wife Brenda Marroquin, and the baby of the family Jorge Marroquin. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Rubi Marroquin, Perla Marroquin, Hunter Marroquin and his wife Mariah Marroquin, Logan Marroquin and his wife Mattie Marroquin, Landon Marroquin, Ricky Marroquin Leon, Easton Marroquin Leon, Tyson Collins, Kip Collins, Jayden Leon, and Layla Leon. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Ryder Marroquin and Avery Jean Elias Marroquin.

Dionicia’s life was a testament to love, faith, resilience, and family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Following the Celebration of Life, a visitation will be held at the home of Gonzalo and Crystal Marroquin at 6996 FM 3236, Dike, TX 75437.

Arrangements are under the compassionate care of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

May Dionicia’s soul rest in eternal peace alongside our Heavenly Father.
