Obituary for Charles Lloyd Palmer
Graveside service for Charles Lloyd Palmer, age 88 of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Aiguar Cemetery in North Hopkins with Doyle Hayes officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Mr. Palmer passed away on October 14, 2025 at Hopkins Court.
Charles was born on August 29, 1937 in Wichita Falls, Texas to William (Bill) and Cressie (Gresham) Palmer. He married Phyllis Ann Glosup on May 15, 1962 in Durant, Oklahoma. Charles worked for Exxon Mobile from 1967 to 1997. He enjoyed traveling, riding motorcycles, gardening, and listening to country music.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; grandson, Chad Malone; great granddaughter, Averlee; son-in-law, Bart Malone; sister, Helen Hutchison; nieces and nephews, Robby, Randy, Autry, and Ricky.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; son, Chad Palmer; daughter, Piper (Palmer) Malone, and granddaughter, Rylee Malone.
