September 22, 2025 – The NETBIO, in partnership with Texas Heritage National Bank, is proud to

announce the upcoming Cattlemen Classic & Ribeye Round-Up, a premier celebration of Texas beef,

ranching traditions, and community spirit. The event will take place on October 4th, 2025, at

Celebration Plaza in Sulphur Springs, bringing together cattle producers, chefs, and beef enthusiasts

for a full day of competition, education, and entertainment. Highlights of the Cattlemen Classic &

Ribeye Round-Up include:

Ribeye Steak Cook-Off – Talented chefs and backyard grill masters will compete to prepare

the perfect ribeye, showcasing the quality of Texas beef. This year, winners of the past 10 steak

cookoffs will compete in the Ben Spraggins Memorial Super Steak Division.

Public Steak Service – all-you-can-eat steak samples and appetizers from all cook teams.

Wristbands for entry are $20 each and come with one People’s Choice Ticket that you can

vote on your favorite steak! Kids under 12 eat free!

Cattle Trail – A spotlight on local ranchers, cattle producers, and agricultural youth programs,

emphasizing the importance of the beef industry to our state’s economy and heritage.

Family-Friendly Activities – The first annual Cattleman’s Classic Cornhole Tournament, Live

Music from Tristan Roberson and Ryder Grimes, and all the food you can eat!


Grant Presentation – This year, the Planning Committee established a $10,000 grant to a

deserving FFA or 4-H chapter in the East Texas region. Cumby FFA was selected as our first

annual winner, and funds will support their beef education initiative for the next generation of

agricultural producers.

The event is open to the public, with tickets available online or at Texas Heritage National Bank.

Proceeds will benefit the NETBIO scholarship fund and future award funds for future grants. For
