Memorial service for Mary B. Hill, age 79, of Como, Texas will be held at a later date. Ms. Hill passed away at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, Texas on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
Mary Blanch Hill was born on August 9, 1946 in Taylor, Michigan to Richard S. and Mary M. (Custer) Hill. She was previously married to Doyle Purdy. Mary was a member of the Community Bible Fellowship Church.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Mary Horton (Gary); son, Doyle Purdy (Myra); and son, James Purdy (Jennifer); grandchildren, Brant McGinnis (Jamie Ryan); Carl McGinnis; Cristal Lunsford (Jason), and Levi Purdy; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Lacey, Alyssia, Taylor, Avril, Jaremiah, Kyla, Logan, and Tresten; three great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Harriott Webber and Shirley Weston both of Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mary Hill; former husband, Doyle Purdy; sisters, Ruby Woods and Rose Deault; and great-granddaughter, Keira McGinnis.
