Memorial service for Tim Britt, age 61, of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at a later date. Mr. Britt passed away at his home on Thursday, September 4, 2025.
Timothy James Britt was born on March 7, 1964 in Phoenix, Arizona to Gary and Collen (Moore) Britt. He married Gretchen Houk in Sulphur Springs, Texas on September 20, 2020. Tim enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and his beloved dogs. In his spare time, Tim enjoyed watching TV. Tim was of the Catholic faith. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for over 20 years and retired as a Staff Sergeant.
Tim is survived by his wife, Gretchen Houk of Sulphur Springs, Texas; daughter, Caitlin Britt of Columbus, Georgia; son, Gary Britt of Darlington, South Carolina; son, Logan Houk of Sulphur Springs, Texas; daughter, Shelby Britt of Darlington, South Carolina; grandchildren, Legacy Houk, Nathan Houk, and Zion Taylor; and sister, Angie Britt of Tyler, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gary and Colleen Britt.
