Hopkins County Breast Cancer Support Group Set to Meet September 8th

Sulphur Springs, Texas – The next meeting of the Hopkins County Breast Cancer Support Group sponsored by the Hopkins County Health Care Foundation will be Monday, September 8 at 5:30 p.m. at the Medical Plaza in the Joe Bob Burgin Conference Room, 113 Airport Rd.

Licensed Dietitian Kim Sellers will lead a discussion about nutrition and dietary wellness. Kim is a longtime volunteer for the Hopkins County Health Care Foundation and works for CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital – Sulphur Springs. She is eager to share her knowledge with the group and ready to answer any nutrition questions support group attendees may have.

The support group provides a community for women who have fought cancer. Attendees are welcome to bring a friend or loved one along to meetings.

The Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1997. The Foundation is governed by volunteer directors who live and work in Hopkins County, seeking to expand healthcare opportunities for county citizens.
