Health Care Foundation’s Free Mammography Clinic Set to Provide 75 Mammograms
Sulphur Springs, Texas – The Hopkins County Health Care Foundation is providing 75 free mammograms to uninsured Hopkins County women 40 and older – a new record high thanks to the generosity of sponsors, players, volunteers, and direct clinic donors at Designer Handbag Bingo.
Appointments will be made in September with mammograms scheduled for October. The phone number for scheduling will be shared September 2 in local media and on the Foundation’s Facebook and Instagram. Spots are claimed quickly, so set a reminder to call.
The 6th annual free mammography clinic will take place in the Ruth and Jack Gillis Women’s Center inside CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital – Sulphur Springs. The women’s center staff creates a calming and comfortable experience for patients using up-to-date technology and 3D imaging to ensure accurate results.
Mammograms are proven to be the best way to detect breast cancer early and help preserve peace of mind. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Let it serve as a reminder to schedule an appointment.
This free clinic is one of the Foundation’s many offerings.
