Andrew Vo Thailand Race Update
I competed in the 4th and final round of the Jetski Pro Tour in Chang
Rai, Thailand.
We traveled from Dallas, Texas, to Bangkok, Thailand, stopping in
Seattle, Washington and Taipei, Taiwan. We rested for only a day
before flying out to Chang Rai for the weekend.

Leading up to the race, I felt excited and prepared. The day before
the race, I practiced on the race track.
Race day came, and I felt confident. The weather was nice, the water
was flat, and my ski was running well. I had 2 intense motos ahead of
me. My first moto, I had a good start off the line. I rode closely
behind the pack, earning 5th for the moto. My second moto was very
intense. I took 5th off of the start, battling for 4th to obtain a
podium position. I had a good fight, but I finished the moto in 5th.

Though I may not have earned a podium position this round, I walked
away from this race stronger and more experienced. I made many new
friendships. Racing in this environment is no joke. I gained so much
more respect for Thai riders. They are all very talented, and their
skies are wicked fast.
As always, I couldn’t have done it without the Keenapan family, and
the KJ racing factory team. Thank you to my sponsors for their ongoing
support this season.
