Visitation for Judie Crawford, age 71, of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025 at Sulphur Springs Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Crawford passed away at her home on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
Judie Carlyn Crawford was born on August 9, 1953 in Lufkin, Texas to Hollis Patrick and Mary Beatrice (Hollis) Rogers. She married Wade Crawford in Lufkin, Texas on January 30, 1970. Judie was a foster Mother for over 100 children over the years. She enjoyed sewing for her kids and grandchildren. Having kids around her brought her much joy. Judie was a jokester. She loved joking with everyone and making them laugh, she had a joyful spirit. Judie loved to read and read thousands of books in her lifetime. Family time with her husband and children was her most precious, loving times. Judie was a member of the Sulphur Springs Church of the Nazarene.
Judie is survived by her husband of 55 years, Wade Crawford; children, Angier Wade Crawford, II (Kathy) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Dena Wade (Ben) of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Judie Cathryn Ragan (Matthew) of Tyler, Texas, David Matthew Crawford of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Johnathan Crawford (Dara) of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Nathaniel Alan Crawford of Sulphur Springs, Texas, and Caleb Wade Crawford of Ore City, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Mack Rogers of Seguin, Texas; and sisters, Dorothy Rogers and Betty Panaqua.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis and Mary Rogers; brother, Paul Rogers; and sister, Joyce Rogers.
