Michael Wayne Edwards, age 69, of Livingston, Texas, passed away at Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center of Longview, Texas on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
Michael Wayne Edwards was born on January 27, 1956, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to George and Barbara (Butler) Edwards. He married Mary Gay Edmonds on April 6, 2002, in Mesquite, Texas. Michael was a hard-working mechanic and truck driver. He was of the Methodist faith. Michael loved his family and will be missed dearly.
Michael is survived by his wife, Mary Edwards of Tatum, Texas; son, Mike Edwards and wife, Marcey of Poetry, Texas; sisters, Lori Courtney of Canton, Texas, Valorie Meredith of Denton, Texas, and Cheryl Bankhead of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; brothers, John Edwards of Royce City, Texas, Bill Edwards of Dallas, Texas, Tom Edwards of Greenville, Texas, Richard Edwards of San Antonio, Texas, Kerry Edwards of Denton, Texas, and Keith Edwards of Opelika, Alabama.
He was preceded in death his parents, George and Barbara Edwards.
