Obituary for Pamela Bell
  • PublishedJune 23, 2025

Pamela Gale Bell, age 66, of Sulphur Springs, Texas passed away at her residence on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Private services will be held at a later date.

Pamela Gale Bell was born on October 20, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to Glenda Joyce Evans. Pam was a Pharmacy Technician for many years and was a member of several Pharmacy Technician organizations. She loved butterflies and enjoyed finding the very colorful ones for her butterfly collection. Her hobbies also included collecting Amberina glassware, farming, collecting “anything” antique, and collecting sewing thimbles. Pam loved doing things for her family. She was a great mother and was extremely proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed playing Skipbo with them. Pam especially loved spending her days with Joyce, Blake, Kelbi and Zaylee and they shared a special love. She was obsessed with her Yorkie dogs but her most loved fur baby was Miss Delilah. She was the best care giver to our GIGI.

Pam was always excited about restoring old used furniture and she would always say “someone’s trash is another person’s treasure”. Pam and her former husband Michael Bell owned their own furniture restoration store, and she often would be seen helping run the family convenience store in Como/Pickton area.

Pam is survived by her daughter, Joyce Ann Dykes Christian; grandson, Blake Friddle; granddaughter, Kelbi Coates; great-great granddaughter, Zaylee Ann Friddle; son-in-law, William Dykes; daughter, Misty Thurman; son-in-law, Jason Thurman; granddaughter, Tessa Roberts; granddaughter, Trinity Thurman; great-great grandchildren, Leeland and Ledger; and former husband, Michael Bell.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Glenda and brother, James Alan Peyton.

The family asks that if you would like to make a donation in honor of Pamela Gale Bell, please consider a donation to The American Heart Association or The American Diabetes Association in her lovely memory.

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
