  • PublishedJune 2, 2025

Sulphur Springs, Texas – The next meeting of the Hopkins County Breast Cancer Support Group sponsored by the Hopkins County Health Care Foundation will be Monday, June 9th.

Licensed Dietitian Kim Sellers will lead a discussion about nutrition and dietary wellness. Kim is a longtime volunteer for the Hopkins County Health Care Foundation and works for CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital – Sulphur Springs. She is eager to share her knowledge with the group and ready to answer any nutrition questions support group members may have. This is a great opportunity for anyone who has or has had breast cancer or a gynecologic cancer to learn and seek the advice of a professional.

Meetings are held at 5:30 p.m. in the Medical Plaza Conference Room, 113 Airport Rd. The conference room is the first door on the left as you enter the stand-alone building on the southeast corner of the CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital – Sulphur Springs campus.

This support group aims to provide community for anyone who has fought breast cancer or a gynecologic cancer. Attendees are welcome to bring a friend or loved one along to meetings.

For more information about the support group and the Foundation, search the Hopkins County Health Care Foundation on Facebook and Instagram. Social media is updated regularly with events and milestones for local healthcare.

The Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1997. The Foundation is governed by a local board of directors living and working in Hopkins County who seek to expand healthcare opportunities for county citizens.
