Obituary for Tony Harrington
Celebration of Life for Tony Dean Harrington, age 77, of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at the Tira Community Center at 2000 Farm Road 1536, Sulphur Springs, Texas. Mr. Harrington passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
Tony Dean Harrington was born on August 23, 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico to Johnnie and Lucile (Scott) Harrington. He married Patty Darlene Lester in Paris, Texas on December 10, 1981. Tony was a truck driver for 54 years.
Tony is survived by his wife, Patty Harrington; son, Rodney Harrington (Tammy) of Powderly, Texas; son, Anthony Harrington (Amy) of Sulphur Springs, Texas; daughter, Martha Jenkins (BJ) of Sulphur Springs, Texas; son, Justin Harrington (Jennifer) of Sulphur Springs, Texas; son, TJ Harrington of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and daughter, Hillary Cade (Brandon) of Aubrey, Texas; nineteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Mary Helen, Neda, Cleo, Johnnie, Cinda, Freddy, and Roger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Lucile Harrington; son, Tony Harrington, Jr.; daughter, Marjorie Ramsey; son, Tommy Harrington; and brothers and sisters, Tillie, Martin, and James.
