Obituary for Tamlin Stoker
Memorial service will be held at a later date for Tam Stoker, age 66, of Sulphur Springs, Texas. Mr. Stoker passed away at Rock Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sulphur Springs, Texas on Saturday, March 8, 2025.
Tamlin Dale Stoker was born on July 2, 1958 in Freeport, Texas to Marlin Dale and Joyce Yvonne (Reynolds) Stoker. Tam attended Madison High School in Houston, Texas, and then enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard and served from 1976-1980. He was married to Sarah Stoker until her passing. Tam worked in residential and commercial construction in the Houston area for several years. He retired in 2016 and became an avid RV’er traveling the West Coast. Tam especially enjoyed the outdoor life, mountains, and deserts.
Tam is survived by his siblings, Shawn Stoker (Charlotte) of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Brant Stoker (Sharon) of Sinton, Texas, and Dayna Stoker of Hilo, Hawaii.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marlin Dale and Joyce Yvonne Stoker; and sister, Erin Stoker.
