Funeral service for Debbie Harrell, age 67, of Dallas, Texas will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs, Texas with Bro. Rodney Williams officiating. Honorary pallbearers will include Alan Bess, Jamie Harrell, James Krantz, Alexander Harrell, and the Deacons at Garza Avenue Church of Christ – Dallas. Ms. Harrell passed away in Dallas, Texas on Friday, February 21, 2025.

 

Deborah Ann Krantz Harrell was born on August 11, 1957 in Dallas, Texas to James Edgar and Bonnie Jean (Lindley) Krantz. She married Michael Harrell in Dallas, Texas on November 5, 1980. They were married for 19 years until his passing in 1999. Debbie worked as a security guard, and was in the Home Healthcare field, as well as was a homemaker. She was an active member of the Garza Avenue Church of Christ in Dallas.

 

Debbie is survived by her daughter, Candie Harrell (Alan Bess) of Paris, Texas; sons, Vergil Reynolds of Frankston, Texas, and Michael Harrell (Brandie Williams) of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Sara Kinsey, Charlotte Kinsey (William Jones), Britney Kinsey, Edwin Kinsey, Jasmine Harrell, Nathaniel Johnson, and D.J. Bess; great-grandchildren, Cali Kinsey, William Jones, Oddy Kinsey, Raelynn Jones, and Elizabeth Jones; brother, Randall Krantz; sister, Judy Krantz; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved deeply.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Bonnie Krantz; husband, Michael Harrell; and brother, James Kratz.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
