Funeral service for Fred Fielden, age 59, of Sulphur Bluff, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs with Buddy Wiggins officiating. Interment will follow at Sulphur Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Fielden passed away at his home in Sulphur Bluff on Monday, January 13, 2025.

 

Fred Fielden was born on September 9, 1965 in Mt. Vernon, Texas to Ben and Clydene (Bassham) Fielden. He married April Denise Williams in Lindale, Texas on April 23, 2023. Fred enjoyed working as a heavy equipment operator for the State, County, Sulphur Bluff School, and S.A.L.T.Y. services. He enjoyed raising cattle and spending time with his grandchildren. Fred was an avid arrowhead collector, who loved hunting, fishing and antiquing. He was of the protestant faith.

 

Fred is survived by his wife, April Fielden; sons, Justin Keen of Sulphur Bluff, Texas and Michael Hale of Dike, Texas; grandchildren, Blakely Keen and Bohen Keen; sister, Marsha Cochran (David) of Winnsboro, Texas; brother, Richard Fielden (Rose Mary) of Sulphur Bluff, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Clydene Fielden; and best friend, Little Roy Herman.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
