Saputo’s December Difference Makers
In 2018 Saputo gained Ashley Sandoval as an employee. She spent a year in the Distribution Center, mastering their processes and setting herself apart as exemplary. The Food Safety department stole Ashley in 2019 and has kept her ever since. She is the most organized person on the planet as well as the sweetest. Regardless of the type of challenge placed in front of her, Ashley will smile, surpass the expectation, then find a way to improve it somehow as well. It is difficult to verbalize how great it is to work with her. I am forever grateful to have Ashley in this department. Paws off DC! James Hunter – James joined the Saputo family in April 2022 as a Palletizer Operator. By December of that year, he expressed interest in the UHT Operator position and swiftly began mastering the processing system. James has become a cornerstone for his shift, not only ensuring the UHTs run smoothly but also supporting the EQ & EH filler operators by keeping the fillers stocked with cartons. He assists operators in troubleshooting the fillers when necessary and has frequently stepped in as a Production Lead. James’s growth as a UHT Operator over the past year has been remarkable, significantly contributing to the productivity increase during the last quarter. I am confident that James will continue to strive for excellence and advance into more challenging roles as opportunities arise. Matt Wilder – Matt joined the Engineering team in January 2024. He came to us from SSISD, where he taught robotics and prepared students for the manufacturing environment. I hope to use his teaching expertise in the future to grow our team’s knowledge. Over the last year, Matt has learned our plant’s control networks, coding languages, and HMI interface software. He has become a key member of our department and an asset to the plant. Let’s all congratulate Matt on being named the Difference Maker of the Month for December!
