Obituary for Anna Catherine Rholes Bessonett
Visitation for Anna Catherine Rholes Bessonett, age 62 of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held on Monday December 30, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Ms. Bessonett passed away on November 30, 2024 at Christus Mother Frances – Sulphur Springs.
Anna was born on January 22, 1962 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to David Ray Rholes Sr. and Frances Willene Johnson Rholes. She was a graduate of Sulphur Springs High School. She worked at the Lee Jeans Factory in Sulphur Springs as a young adult. Anna later went to work for Ocean Spray. She worked there from 1991 to 2013. She loved her work family at Ocean Spray. She gained many friendships working there over the years. When Anna was younger, her family often went to the family lake, Camp David. Lots of memories were made there. Some included going out on the boat, fishing and fish-frys. Anna was known for her kindness and compassion towards those she truly loved. She enjoyed being a mother to her daughters, Ashlie and Kinzie, and especially being Nana to her granddaughter Alliah. Some of Anna’s hobbies included planting and growing flowers, making stained glass pieces and going to 90s Rock concerts. Anna will always be known for her bright blue eyes and beautiful long hair. Anna was a member of First Baptist Church Sulphur Springs and a graduate of the Sulphur Springs High School, class of 1980.
She is survived by her daughters, Ashlie Brooke Sewell and Kinzie Paige Bessonett; granddaughter, Alliah Brooke Sewell and brother, David Ray Rholes Jr.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Elizabeth (Rholes) Barnes.
