Obituary for Bunnie Wade
Funeral service for Bunnie Grace Wade, age 85 of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Mitchell Chapel with Bishop Nelson Gatlin officiating. Interment will follow at Cherry Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Tapp Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Mrs. Wade passed away on December 9, 2024 at Sunny Springs Nursing and Rehab.
Bunnie was born on July 18, 1939 in Wood County, Texas to Abe Dial and Essie Lee Wade (Ford). She worked as a nursing aid in health care. Bunnie enjoyed fishing and helping take care of her grandchildren. She had a caring heart, which made her so good with patients at the nursing home. Bunnie loved to cook and bake; she was very good at it. But she always made time for her cross-word puzzles. Bunnie was a woman of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by her daughters, June Person and husband, Louie Person Jr, Youlanda Chancellor; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and siblings, Larry Wade, Abe dial Jr, Marvin Dial, Freddie Hynson and Barbara Dial.
Bunnie was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda Rush; son, Larry Wade; brothers, Ernest Wade Jr and AB Wade; sisters, Leista Pringle and Grace Hawkins, and infant sister.
