Obituary for Randy Conner
Funeral service for Randy Conner, age 73 of Yantis, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, December 6, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Yantis with Bro Steve Couch officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Kelley Smith, Jeremy Powell, and Bobby Capps. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mr. Conner passed away on December 1, 2024 at his residence.
Randy was born on April 21, 1951 in Dallas, Texas to James Walter “Jim” and Margie Marie (Reed) Conner. He married Denise Ann Marks in Campbell, Texas in 1976. Randy was a graduate of Irving High School. After high school, Randy became a butcher at Powells Meat Market. Randy later moved to Lone Oak, Texas and started working at Wing Industries manufacturing doors for over 20 years. He spent his last 8.5 years before retirement working at America Wood manufacturing doors. Randy enjoyed his retirement years fishing and porch sitting looking over Lake Fork. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Yantis.
He is survived by his son, James Conner, and wife, Erica; granddaughter, Ayla Conner and brother Rick Conner.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
