Obituary for John Gatlin
John Gatlin, age 86 of Como, Texas passed away on November 30, 2024 at Christus Mother Frances – Tyler.
John was born on September 13, 1938 in Beaufort, North Carolina to William Dallas and Bessie Mae (Pittman) Gatlin. He married Janis Graham on May 12, 1962 in El Monte, California. John was a veteran of the United States Navy. After the Navy, John worked as a building maintenance man.
He is survived by his wife, Janis; son, John Gatlin II; granddaughters, Heaven Butler and Darcy Parks; Great Grandson, Sawyer Kinzey; and sister, Ruby Payne.
John was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Gunnar Gatlin.
