Obituary for Jim Scott
Celebration of life for Jim Scott, age 60, of Longview, Texas will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Mr. Scott passed away at his home in Longview, Texas on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
Jimmy Gene Scott was born on December 24, 1963 in Dallas, Texas to W.D. “Skeeter” and Judy (McIntire) Scott. He married Tina Ann O’Brien in Sulphur Springs, Texas on May 12, 1984. Jim was a truck driver for Frito Lay for many years.
Jim is survived by his wife, Tina Scott of Longview, Texas; daughter, Jessica Scott of Longview, Texas; brothers, David Scott (Kayla) of Garland, Texas; Danny Scott (Gary Chitwood) of Dallas, Texas; and Tim Scott of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and mother and father-in-law, Bill and Patsy O’Brien of Sulphur Springs, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.D. “Skeeter” and Judy Scott and brother, Donny Scott.
