A key team member at the clinic is Physician Assistant Elizabeth Hasten, who joined full-time and brings years of experience in both emergency and urgent care settings. Elizabeth holds a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from The University of North Texas Health Science Center. “Elizabeth is really good at what she does,” the office manager remarks, emphasizing the high-quality, personalized care patients receive.
Over the years, the clinic has gained local recognition, even winning the title of “Best Emergency Room” in community awards. Although technically an urgent care facility, this honor highlights how valued the clinic is by the Sulphur Springs community.
As Hopkins Minor Emergency Center looks to the future, its focus remains on providing high-quality, timely care. Being locally owned and operated, the clinic has a special connection to the community. “We’re a small clinic with a hometown feel,” says the office manager, “and we truly understand the needs of the people here.”
