Saputo’s August Difference Makers

Michael Emmons – Michael has been with Saputo for 22 years. He is THE veteran in the palletizing room making sure all product lines from production are being palletized correctly with a sense of urgency. He holds himself and his team accountable to keep product moving down the line. There have been many employees at our Saputo plant that Michael has helped mentor and train over his 22 years while building great friendships along the way. The way Michael interacts with others shows what it means to be a work family and not just a coworker. Congratulations Michael on being a Difference Maker of the month and thank you for all that you do! ~ Nathan Ridner 

Corinna Perry began her journey with Saputo in 2010 in the Bosch area. She later joined the Quality department as a line monitor and is now a Lab Technician. She is an asset to the Quality department and is always going above and beyond. She is willing to lend a helping hand when needed and is able to fill in for various roles in the Quality department. She steps in and supports anyone that needs it and does so with a great attitude. Thank you, Corinna for all that you do! ~Keila Perez-Lewis   

Shannon Pierce came into the Aseptic department as a vacation relief operator in September of 2023.  For those that do not know, this means she had to learn four or more positions, not one.  In the past year, she has excelled in not only learning her responsibilities, but also various other roles to support her team.  Shannon is flexible and always willing to step up and help anyone, anywhere, anytime.  She has been expanding her knowledge even more so recently, resulting in her being nominated for Difference Maker of the Month. 

Luis Pena began his career at Saputo in July 2022 as an EH Filler Operator and quickly set the integrity bar high.  It is his passion to make sure everything is done right from quality paperwork to CIP/SIP’s, to training new operators, it shows every day.  Luis always volunteers for OT and coverage when needed and is a vital part of the gable top team in the ESL Department.  Luis quickly established himself as a future leader and I look forward to watching him grow into that role.  Please congratulate Luis on his Difference Maker nomination. ~ Danny Strickhausen
