Foundation Provides Overview of Bags for Designer Handbag Bingo
  • PublishedJuly 31, 2024

Sulphur Springs, TX –

After many hours of shopping, the Foundation’s handbag acquisition team has made its selection. Almost 40 bags will be given away as prizes at the 5th Annual Designer Handbag Bingo on Thursday, August 8.

Designers that will be up for grabs include YSL, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Versace, Ulla Johnson, Kate Spade, Consuela, Jimmy Choo, Prada, Polene, Chloe, Christian Louboutin, Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, and Jacquemus.

Golden Goose is now making bags and one will be on the prize table on bingo night. This one-of-a-kind, custom bag was designed specifically for this event.

Bags range from a wallet on a chain to a large tote. There are several styles included in the mix, from high fashion and luxury designers to timeless classic and practical day bags.

This year, ladies asked for more neutral colors, so there are several black, tan, ivory, gold, and camel color bags in the mix. But there are also some pops of color such as light blue, bright pink, lipstick pink, and lilac bags for the gals who like to make a statement.

A raffle for a mystery bag, sponsored by The Jypsy Willow, is being offered. The raffle was popular last year as it allowed those with or without bingo tickets a chance at winning a luxury designer bag. Hints about the bag are being posted on the Foundation’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

The two bonus round bags will include a classic Louis Vuitton Neverfull sponsored by Sister Babyz and a buttery soft leather YSL sponsored by the event’s title sponsor Alliance Bank, Alliance Bank Financial Services, and Galyean Insurance.

Proceeds from the evening will fund a free mammography clinic for uninsured Hopkins County women over 40. The clinic runs in October. Details on how to participate will be publicized in September.

The Foundation is an IRS 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization. It was founded in 1997 by a group of local citizens to promote health and health resources in Hopkins County.
