Funeral service for Rusty Robinson, age 54 of McKinney, Texas will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at The Cowboy Church of Collin County with Chaplain Marc Ira Hooks officiating. Interment will follow at McCurley Cemetery with the Lowry Crossing Fire Department serving as pallbearers. There will be no formal visitation. Rusty passed away on July 20, 2024 at Medical Center McKinney.

 

Rusty was born on October 21, 1969 in Denton, Texas to Jerry Lee and Clara Elizabeth (Boyd) Robinson. He married Kerri Blubaugh on October 28, 2000 in Jamacia. Rusty was a veteran of the United States Army. After the Army, he went and worked in underground utilities with his father. Later Rusty went back to school to become an EMT/Paramedic along with being a firefighter.

 

He is survived by his wife, Kerri; daughters, Melissa and husband, Matthew, Rachel and Morgan; sons, Justin and Tommy; grandchildren, Stella, Penny, Aleeya, Kaden, Stella Dawn, Jaiden, Jameson, and Nyla; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

 

Rusty was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, and several uncles and aunts.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lowry Crossing Fire Department at 1407 S. Bridge Farmer Road, McKinney, TX 75069.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
