The 2024 Cattleman’s Classic and Ribeye Roundup

Sulphur Springs, TX, July 10, 2024 – The Cattleman’s Classic and Ribeye Roundup is set to take place on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Celebration Plaza. Since the inception of this event our mission has been to promote beef. With our mission in mind, along with feedback from the public and cook teams, we are pleased to announce some exciting format enhancements for this year’s event.

What’s new for the public?

· Reduced ticket price. $20 vs. $35

· Bite-sized steak tasting instead of a full steak meal. Now the public has the opportunity to try multiple cook team steaks vs. picking only one steak.

· Festival style that includes live music throughout the day vs. an evening dinner.

· Public service will begin at 1pm and end at 4pm.

What’s new for the cook teams?

· For the adult cook teams, there will be a single round vs. the 2-round format.

· Extended timeline for competition prep and turn in.

· Reduced overall timeline for the entire day; event is over at 5pm vs. 10pm

· Top 10 adult winners will be announced on stage and each of those teams will receive a trophy. Additionally, the winning teams will have the opportunity to give their sponsors a shout out.

· The winners of the adult division and both kid divisions will all receive belt buckles.
