Michael Gordon Noble, age 86, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, passed away at his home on June 8, 2024. There will be a family-led memorial service held at a later date.

 

Michael Gordon Noble was born on January 25, 1938 in Alexandria, Virginia to Gordon and Ann (Quigley) Noble. He married Florence D. Hill in Wichita Falls, Texas on May 3, 1972. Michael served 4 years in the US Navy then enlisted in the US Army where he retired after 23 years of service. After retirement from the Army, he had a successful civilian career for many years in computer technology.

 

Michael is survived by his wife of 52 years, Florence D. Noble of Sulphur Springs, Texas; sons Mark Noble (Gail) of New Jersey; Christopher Noble (Dawn) of South Carolina; Gordon Noble of New Jersey; step-children, Juanita (Jay) Scott of South Carolina, Timothy (Laura) Morton of Texas, Teresa Morton of South Carolina; Donald (Jacqueline) Morton of Texas; brothers Richard Noble (Nancy); Patrick Noble (Mary); 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Ann Noble, and son, Michael R. Noble.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
