“These child molestations have gone on for decades. What they do is, when there becomes too much noise, too many complaints, they’ll move them [abusers] to another state.”

This year, the Front Porch News + Chad’s Media team sat down with one of the survivors of “The Truth”, Sheri Autrey. If you haven’t heard, “The Truth” is one of the unofficial names for a secretive religious group with ongoing allegations of sexual abuse and misconduct. Since our original article was posted in March, the perpetrator count has grown from 700 to 910.
