Obituary for Bill Giles
Celebration of life for Bill Giles, age 36 of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Brother Bob Boyce officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mr. Giles passed away on May 14, 2024 at Christus Mother Frances -Tyler.
Bill was born on September 27, 1987 in Dallas, Texas to Roy Hercheal Giles Jr and Janice (King) Giles. He married LaTarra Young on April 25, 2015 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Bill graduated with his bachelor’s in finance from Texas A&M Commerce. He worked as an insurance agent at Giles Insurance. Bill loved superheroes, Elvis, comic books, and action figures. He was known as the knight in shining armor who protected his family and friends. Bill was still close to his friends from first grade to this day.
He is survived by his wife, LaTarra Giles; daughters Serenity and Eretria Giles; mother, Janice Giles; brother, Michael Giles; grandmother, Joye Altman and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Roy Giles; and sister, Angela Davis Vega.
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
