Obituary for Bruce Lee Waldrop
Bruce passed away 5-8-2024 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, Tx.
He was preceded in death by his Mother Regina Vaughn, brother Gerald Ray Waldrop Jr., his nephew Nathaniel Waldrop. his Aunt Mary Vaughn Bryan, Grandparents Elmer and Lola Mae Waldrop and Calvin and Bonnie Vaughn.
Bruce is survived by his father and stepmother Gerald and Carol Waldrop Sr of Riesel, Tx, daughters Jamie Waldrop and Skyler Patterson of Sulphur Springs, Tx. Brothers Ben and Ceanne Waldrop of Jewett, Tx and Jake and Katie Foster of Chandler, Tx
Grandsons Easton and Braxton Harrison and Zane Pruitt all of Sulphur Springs, Tx. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bruce was born 6-5-1976 to Gerald and Regina Vaughn in Sulphur Springs, Tx.
He grew up in the Winnsboro and Sulphur Springs Tx area. In his early years he grew up on the family farm outside of Winnsboro playing with his brother Gerald Ray and cousins Leslie and Christy Dalton, watching his grandparents work the garden, shelling peas, tractor rides, riding bikes, four wheelers, playing in the creek, building forts in the woods, getting into mischief and eating good southern food as he had a ravenous appetite. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, watching football, spending time living on the family farm in his last few years and was An avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
Bruce had a loving strong heart and was a fighter until the end.
He was a very handsome man with a smile that would light up a room! We will miss that smile and his infectious personality.
A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
