Obituary for Bonnie Fry
Funeral service for Bonnie (Carter) Fry, age 86, of Brashear will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mark Garrett and Bro. Johnny Darrow officiating. Interment will follow at Greenview Cemetery with Shanda Ramm, Syrus Hurst, Chase Tyndell, Josh Banta, Trevor Dotson and Tanner Dotson serving as pallbearers and Steve Banta and Stewart Hurst serving as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Fry passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at her home.
Bonnie Ruth was born to John and Edith (Williams) Carter on May 18,1937 in Miller Grove, TX. She married Glen Fry on October 19, 1974 in Point Texas. Bonnie worked for Crawford & Smith in retail sales. She was a devoted Christian. Bonnie’s family were her pride and joy and her love and care extended to everyone she knew.
She is survived by her children, Sheriee Hurst and husband, Steve, Shelia Banta and husband, Steve, Tommy Fry and wife, Julie, Donald Fry and wife, Sherre, Roxanne Fry; grandchildren, Shanda Ramm and husband, Justin, Syrus Hurst and wife, Hayley, Stewart Hurst, Chase Tyndell, Josh Banta and wife, Kadi, Trevor Dotson and wife, Lauren, Tanner Dotson and wife, Marisha; blessed with many great and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Nona Vickars and Jo Mitchell.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Charles and Mike Carter.
