Jr. Dairy Show 2023 Coming Up
The infamous Dairy Festival contains MANY fun and inclusive events. The aim of the dairy festival is to “honor, promote and educate about Hopkins County dairy farmers and the dairy industry,” according to their statement, and since 1959 when the festival was founded, they have been doing just that. 🐄
Youth from across Hopkins County and even from other parts of Texas converge on the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center Livestock Pavilion to show dairy cows, calves and heifers. There are many categories in the Jr. Dairy Show. For example, Dairy Classic, Brown Swiss, Holstein, Jersey, Supreme, and other breeds. And each category will award a winner. 🏆
Join your friends and neighbors as we stampede through the Sulphur Springs Civic Center Arena in honor of the 64th Annual Hopkins County Dairy Festival this Saturday at 10:00am.
