“WHEREAS skilled nursing care centers throughout Texas will celebrate skilled nursing care week beginning on May 14- May 20. This year’s theme, cultivating kindness, is inspired by the many acts of kindness that happen in skilled nursing care centers everyday…

“WHEREAS I encourage all citizens to visit a loved one, family member, or a friend residing in a skilled nursing center and spend time participating in various activities to celebrate…

“WHEREAS the city of Sulphur Springs is committed to quality healthcare, we take this moment to embrace the essence of the theme, cultivating kindness. Let’s join all skilled nursing care centers, their staff, volunteers, and residents, and their families and friends, and celebrating this week…

“THEREFORE I, Doug Moore, as mayor of Sulphur Springs, Texas, do declare May 14- May 20 of 2023 as National Skilled Nursing Care Week to honor the vital role that skilled nursing plays in protecting our most vulnerable citizens in our community.”
