Funeral service for David Singleton, age 63 of Cumby, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Pastor James Mansfield and Pastor Maddison Caffey officiating. Interment to follow at Pleasant Grove cemetery in Cumby, Texas. Serving as Pallbearers will be Edwin Llabres, Danny Mexia, Daniel George, James McCrary, Chris Abbott and John Phillips. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. David Earl Singleton, 63, of Cumby Texas, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023.

David was born August 26, 1959, to William Earl and Martha Ann (Jones) Singleton. His father preceded him in death. David married the love of his life, Linda Faye Walden, on July 7, 1977 at Open Door Baptist Church in Mesquite, Texas and Honeymooned at Lake Possum Kingdom. David worked in the Paint and Body industry for Forty plus years. Some of his favorite things to do included Hunting, Fishing, and most of all game nights with all his family. Survivors include his wife – Linda Singleton, children – Lena Llabres and husband Edwin, Amanda Singleton, Mitchell Singleton and wife Charla, Elizabeth Mexia and husband Danny, Tonya George and husband Daniel, thirteen grandchildren, his mother – Martha Singleton and sister – Deborah Ratzlaff.
