A graveside inurnment for Eva Clayton will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Rockdale Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Mrs. Clayton passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at her residence in Cooper, Texas.
Eva was born on September 11, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas to parents Melvin Clifford and Joyce Erline (Harvey) Wood. She loved spending time with her four beloved grandchildren, doing cross-stitch, and spoiling her next-door neighbor’s sweet black Labrador Retriever, Aussie.
Eva is survived by her sons, Don Clayton, and wife Mandi, and Cody Clayton, and wife, Crystal; brother, Michael Wood; sister, Kimberly Price; and grandchildren, Catie Clayton, Kinley Clayton, Jackson Clayton, and Malachi Clayton. She is also survived by her lifelong best friend, Patty Finch, and her children Jennifer Davis and Scott Finch, and their children Dylan, Lacie, and Owen.
Eva is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Calvin Clayton.
