Funeral service for Ronny Darrow, age 77, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 3:00 P.M on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Cook officiating and Bro. Johnny Darrow assisting. Interment will follow at Miller Grove Cemetery with Mark Phillips, Justin Darrow, Brandon Darrow, Bradley Darrow, Hunter Darrow and Lee Hamner serving as pallbearers and Ace Hamner as Honorary Pallbearer. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Ronny passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 1, 2023 surrounded by his family.

 

Ronny Wade was born on December 28, 1945 in Dallas, Texas to Wade and Lela (Waskom) Darrow. He married Kathy Mahand in Las Vegas, NV on August 30, 1989. Ronny attended Miller Grove School District. He was a lifelong resident of Hopkins County where he owned and operated Ronny Darrow Floor Coverings and Interiors. Ronny was a business owner for over 40 years. He worked for three generations of the same family. He also loved working on his farm in Miller Grove where he raised livestock, hunted and fished. Ronny treasured his peaceful time on the farm.

 

He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Kathy; son, Heath Darrow and his wife, Tonya of Missouri; daughter, Natalie Darrow of Sulphur Springs and fiancé, Chris Burling of Mt. Pleasant; step-son, Jake Mahand of Arlington; grandchildren, Clint Stuckey and wife, Krystyna, Heather Willock and husband, Ben, Jessy Darrow, Kylie Darrow and great grandchildren, Amelia Stuckey and Hayden Willock; much loved mother-in-law, Wandean (De Da) Easley; siblings, Betty Phillips, Johnny Darrow, Brett Darrow and their families, along with countless nieces and nephews.

 

Ronny was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Le Roy Easley.

 

Memorials can be made to Shooks Chapel Methodist Church, PO Box 1395, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482
