Funeral service for Michael Scott Gray Bakkers “Sloth” will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Franklin County Sheriff’s Posse Rodeo Arena with Rev. Andrew McQueen officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Gray-Bakkers passed away on January 10, 2023.

 

Michael was born on February 2, 2001 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Richard Gray and Frankie Marie Dickson. After the death of Richard, he was raised by Tino Bakkers. He worked as a Pot Rider for Brydl Road Construction.

 

He is survived by his mother, Frankie Bakkers; father, Martinus Bakkers; brothers, Donnie Wright, Dillon Cunningham and Conagher Cunningham; sisters, Montana Cunningham, Haylie Cunningham, Tamara Walker Wright, Ashely Wright and Satin Rickerd; grandmother, Terri Simmons; grandfather, Harold Simmons; adopted parents, Ginger and Casper Cunningham; aunts and uncles, Kim Sierra and her kids, Orlando and Samantha, David Scott Gray, Billy Hamilton, Johnna and Billy Nance, Tracy and Jerry Gilliam; numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Richard Allan Gray; brother, Robert Harold Gray and sister, Nicole Barela.
