Winter Bash Livestock Show has great second annual run

The second annual Northeast Texas Winter Bash Livestock Show welcomed local youth to show heifers, steer, lamb, swine and goats at the Hopkins County Regional Civic center this past weekend. “This is why we do what we do,” said organizer Cody Fails. “All for the kids! It was an awesome awesome show.” 

Grand Champions

  • Supreme overall heifer went to Cacie Lennon 
  • Reserve supreme heifer was Abby Duplechan
  • Supreme Champion steer was Ronnie Johnson
  • Reserve Supreme steer was Tori Belcher 

Steer & Heifer

  • Grand Champion British Heifer was Olivia York
  • Grand Champion Exotic Heifer was Abby Duplechan
  • Grand Champion American heifer was Cacie Lennon
  • Grand Champion American steer was Case Fails
  • Grand Champion British Steer was Lila Bettes
  • Grand Champion exotic steer was Ronnie Johnson

Swine and Lamb

  • Overall Supreme Champion Swine- Kindal Shackelford 
  • Heavyweight Champion Swine- Kindal Shackelford
