Graveside service for Louis Michael Hathcoat, age 69 of Yantis, Texas, will be held at 2:00P.M. on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Reilly Springs Cemetery with Jeff Harris officiating. Micheal Young, Tuner Hathcoat, Tucker Hathcoat, Doug Linneberger, Corbin Foster and Drew Guenther will be serving as pallbearers and Lanny Vines, Windell House, Nolan House and Mercedes Young will be serving as honorary pallbearers. There will be no formal visitation. Mr. Hathcoat died peacefully surrounded by family members on November 16, 2022 at Christus Mother Frances – Tyler.

Louis was born on February 16, 1953 in Dallas, Texas to Lewis Deleber Hathcoat and Prillie Olevia (Ray) Hathcoat. He married Gail House on April 8, 1971 in Yantis, Texas. Louis retired from the Winnsboro Hospital after working there for 24 years in maintence.

He is survived by his wife, Gail; daughters, Tammie Darlene Young and husband, Jackie, Sherry Rene Garcia and husband, Brent; son, Jeffery Louis Hathcoat and wife, Tangie; grandchildren, Micheal Young and wife, Haley, Mercedes Young, Melissa Garcia, Linda Garcia, Taylor Foster and husband, Corbin, Tucker Hathcoat and wife, Ashten and Turner Hathcoat; great grandchildren, Savanna Young, Lucas Young, Jackson Hoff and Noah Hoff; sisters, Millie Duncan and husband, Jimmy, Michele Hathcoat and Janie Linneberger and husband, Doug; numerous nieces and nephews.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Hathcoat and Prillie King; many aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
