Bennie Sue Bryant (Turner) was born on December 1, 1936 in Wood County, Texas to parents Herman and Sybil (Gilbreath) Turner. She entered the incredible joys of heaven on October 20, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Sybil (Gilbreath) Turner, husband, Garth Bryant, and sister, Shirley Hood. She is survived by her sister, Patsy Taylor; daughter, Julie Sowell and husband, Joe; son, Allan Bryant; grandchildren, Matthew Sowell and wife, Cherese, Michael Bryant and wife, Sara; great grandchildren, Peyton Bryant, Paisley Bryant, Greyson Sowell and Natalie Sowell.

Bennie Sue worked for many years as an Executive Administrator at a real estate and insurance company. Her dedication and work ethic branched into every aspect of her life. She served as a Sunday school administrator for many years at her church in Mesquite, Texas. She was incredibly involved in her children’s education through her involvement as President of the PTA. Her love for her family was unparalleled and was demonstrated by always being there. The support and love she had shown throughout her life will be felt by her family for generations.

Graveside service for Bennie Bryant, age 85 of Yantis, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Yantis Cemetery with Buddy Wiggins officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
