Lady Cats Cross Country Team take 2nd place in strong outing

The Sulphur Springs Lady Cats Cross Country team had a great outing in their meet last Thursday. The meet was in Grand Prairie and saw a number of competitive schools in action.
Junior Haylee Shultz led the way for the Lady Cats, in yet another strong showing. Schultz finished in sixth place overall out of 219 contestants!

Sulphur Springs finished in second place overall, but were very close to taking first place. They finished just one point behind the first place finisher. Great things are to come from this team, as they approach the district meet.
