Walter B. Pair, age 91, of Sulphur Springs and formerly from Wylie, Texas, passed away on July 15, 2022. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:45 pm on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home with Cody Alan Rushing officiating. Interment following on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 11:00 am at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas.

He was born on September 20, 1930 to Harrison Andrew Pair and Maggie Belle Roberts Pair. Walter married Naomi Eubanks Pair in McKinney, Texas on December 19, 1949. Walter was a retired welder and deputy sheriff. He loved being outside – you could often find him hunting, fishing, riding his tractor, and tending his vegetable garden. Walter was a devoted husband, son, brother, father, grandfather and friend

His legacy lives on through his 2 daughters, 6 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. He is survived by daughters Rhonda Bawcum and husband Wayne of Sulphur Springs, Texas and Karen McWilliams and husband Denny of Nevada, Texas; grandchildren Sherrie Sellers and husband Cooper, Andrea Sprague, Ashley Gray and husband Dustin, Keri Campbell and wife Stephanie, J.W. Campbell, and Scott McWilliams; and great grandchildren Joelle, Shawn, Joshua, Maddison, Keegan. Oliver, Everett, Dakota, Sheyanne, and Paisley.

Walter was preceded in death by his father Harrison Andrew Pair, mother Maggie Belle Roberts Pair, sister Florence Mae Pair O’Neil, and wife Naomi Eubanks Pair.
