Coach Brandon Shaver is excited for the upcoming camp. After attending a number of camps this summer, led by the likes of Jay Bilas and Baylor head coach Scott Drew, he said he plans on taking elements from other big camps and implementing them and putting their own twist on them.
The camp will consist of teaching fundamentals and skills to sharpen kids games, as well as fun games and ways to compete. “Whether your kids love basketball or have never picked up a ball, they will have a blast at camp!” Coach Shaver said. “They will be hanging out with all of our awesome varsity players and they’ll be going home with a sweet camp shirt.”
Children attending the camp will also get the chance to meet and take pictures with members of the Sulphur Springs Wildcats varsity basketball team. The camp is $50, for more information you can email coach Shaver at BShaver@ssisd.net.
